1. Touch the IC card to your smart phone
At the time of purchase you will be asked to present your IC card. Please touch it to an Android device that has the “upstamp” app installed.
2. Setting up your card
a: Scanning your IC card for the first time
The following screen will be displayed. Tap the icon on the right to assign a “Name” image for yourself and tap “OK”.
(To get rid of an image that has been assigned, press and hold on that image.)
After your card has been set up, tap the “Add new” button at the bottom of the following screen.
When your IC card has already been scanned
Your previously registered cards will be loaded, displaying stamp cards and their details.
3. Assigning stamps
You can assign stamps, based on the amount of your purchase, by tapping them. After assigning your stamps, please tap the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.
(You can cancel your selection by tapping the stamp a second time.)
Stamps that been saved will be confirmed by displaying a date with them. Tapping them will no longer cancel them, but they can be cancelled by pressing and holding.
4. Reaching your stamp limit
If you reach your stamp limit the text below will be displayed. If you wish to apply the services immediately and complete your stamp card, tap “Yes”.
If you tap “No”, the card’s service will remain available to be used as it is. When you want to actually apply the services, select the stamp card and tap the service name displayed in red at the bottom of the screen.
5. Verifying your card
In the upstamp app, open the menu in the upper right part of the screen and go to “Customer’s card”. You can verify loaded card information here.
